One Hundred and Three years after the coming of the Aeon of Horus, The Children of the Stars stand at the threshold of a society greater than any civilization has ever witnessed. You, and I, and every Human Being are citizens of One Human Nation. The realities of the Post-Modern world, brought on by the confusion of the Information Age, has lead naturally to our leaders and the majority of those around us, perhaps even you and I, to look to past systems of governance, morality, and cultural expression for shelter from the Greatest Challenges we face. We are one nation, but we have been drafted for too long in these civil wars of tribal ideology. Though we may fight for just causes and legitimate grievances, these divisions serve no one but the dominating and oppressive.
Already the crisis of this new epoch demand the full ability of each individual if we are to rise against this oppression. Rise against it we must, for the specters of the Globalizing Economy, Climate Change, and Terrorism, to name a few, are but the shadows of infants compared to what we, and the coming generations must overcome.
The purpose behind this blog, Epochal Crisis, is to add these views to the global dialog, to disseminate a point of view on the potential of our society that I’ve heard nowhere else. I strongly encourage those who read these words to express their thoughts and opinions. Together, we may be able to form ideas which alter the course of our society for the better.
